What does Centered and Offset anchors mean when it comes to stake pockets?

Center or Offset, which do you have?

You might have come across 'centered' and 'offset' anchor options and are wondering what this means. Continue reading to learn the difference between the two. Knowing this information ensures that the correct tie down anchor is ordered for your truck bed.

Centered

Titan Anchors 'centered' retractable anchors are for truck beds that have stake pocket openings that are centered within the rail cap opening. One way to tell is by comparing the spacing between the truck bed's painted surface and plastic rail cap. The truck bed's painted surface spacing on both sides of the stake pocket opening will be even.

Offset

Titan Anchors 'offset' retractable anchors are for truck beds that have stake pocket openings that are not centered with the rail cap opening. The stake pocket opening could be slightly forward or rearward with the rail cap. One end will have more or less spacing than the other.

Get it right the first time
