Step 1.
Using an utility knife, carefully cut along the scribe lines on the rail cap to reveal the stake pocket underneath. Discard the cutout plastic square.
Tip: Plastic rail cap cuts easier when warm

Step 2.
Remove both screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Angle and maneuver the lower portion of the anchor into the stake pocket. Ensure both sides of the hooks are latched onto the inner rim of the stake pocket.

Step 3.
Pull upward on D-ring and insert bolts. Hand tighten with supplied hex key, give the bolts a final 1/4 turn to secure. (Do not over-tighten and do not use power tools)
Easy Access Anchor Points
When your truck bed is fully loaded, it's difficult to get a good anchor point. These anchors are installed right on top of the bed rails for easy access. The anchor point snaps up when in use, and retracts out of sight when it's not.
